  Highly Recommended! A family favourite! We enjoy the clean and quiet campground. The campground also is within about 1 km of the Bruce Trail which offers a perfect opportunity for a day hike (or longer). As well, a 40 km bike ride (round trip) for those a little more experienced in cycling will allow you to enjoy the shoreline of Georgian Bay on your way to a local lighthouse.

  The best campground ever!!!! We came up from North Carolina on a whim and found this gold mine of a place. We stayed last summer and we will be heading back there again. Ron and Kathie are two of the nicest hosts and just great people. Our boys (and myself) had a blast on the floating water park.

  Ron and Kathie are fabulous hosts. During our 10 day stay they made us feel right at home and like we were family. As we flew in to Toronto and rented a car from there, they were generous enough to help us out with items we were not able to bring in our suitcases. Each of the staff was most gracious and gave us insiders tips, patiently answering questions about fishing and hiking trails. We hiked 6 of the 10 days during our stay at MTC as it is central to so many nice trails. We very much enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the area -- raccoons, foxes, birds etc. and the wildflowers along the peninsula are amazing. Fishing at MTC is great and the lake is a peaceful place to unwind-- perfect for swimming with the most gorgeous sunset views from the docks. Camp regulars are also most warm and hospitable. We had a blast and would recommend Mountain Trout Camp to any one who is looking for a quiet, cozy get away or a family community-oriented spot. Something for everyone!

  I was lucky enough to spend the day there with my Friend and her father. I was welcomed with open arms and smiles. This place really is a little piece of heaven in the woods. I loved the park and the people were so friendly its hard to believe. I will be back again. What a beautiful well kept park. Ron and Kathy are amazing people who clearly love what they have awnd take pride in their camp :)
